Vinaròs
Along the coast, Vinaròs welcomes the northern lands of Valencia. And it does it so through a stamp that shows all the charm of the Costa del Azahar.

Its port and the typical mariners constructions, together with its paradisiacal beaches of sand and cantos, represent the perfect setting to delight savouring a genuine jewel: the famous.

Vinaròs was in origin a farmhouse called Beni Ar-rus, that after the Christian conquest is hereby framed at the end of Peñíscola. In 1294, the king of Aragon Jaume II deliveries the villa to the Order of the Templars, but after its dissolution at the beginning of the 14th century, he will go to the Order of Montesa. In the course of this century the city extends thanks to the great commercial and shipping activity . Trade wine of Vinaros destined for Europe and the American colonies was partly the guilt. In the year 1540 Vinaros is conceded the title of Villa, for its advocacy to the Crown, in the Germanías rebellion. As an anecdote we must cite that in 1571 it disembarked in the Port of Cervantes.

Sant Jordi
Sant Jordi is located in the north part of Castellón, bordering on the province of Tarragona, in the region of Baix Maestrat, it’s 90 km far from the city of Castellón. Its excellent geographical situation allows us to enjoy the calmness of an inland town, only 8 minutes far from the splendid beaches of the Costa Azahar.

The visitor can enjoy dishes of great tradition as "les piles of carnestoltes" of lean meat and bread; the pot of chickpeas with balls; the snails with tomato and onion; coke tomato i pimentó; the ouzel cooked tih onion; l'empedrat d'arròs and for the desserts you’ll be delighted with the typical caps with comfiture; the coca with almonds and the nutty biscuits. But, without any doubt, the gastronomic product par excellence is the olive oil.

Alcossebre
At this point, the Costa Azahar recalls the virginity harmonious relationship between the green and blue, between the bays, beaches and the pines. The tourists who arrive looking for sun and beach have a choice: the beach of les Fonts, of Carregador, of l’Estany, of the Roman and of the Moro.

If we want to practice some sports, we will find a really good considered marina; if you prefer discovering their people past, then you must visit the villa of Alcalà of Xivert, the municipal core of Alcossebre. In addition, let us not forget to be captivated by a unique natural setting, the sierra of Irta.

The large amount of archaeological sites found in these lands are a reflection of the various cultures that have been populating the term of Alcalà along its history. The necropolis of the Solivella is the most important, where there were found various funerary urns from the year 245 BC. The history of Alcalà joins ,under the Muslim rule, with the Castle of Xivert, one of the most important enclaves in the area during the Christian conquest.
